Introduction to Holy Week

It is helpful to prepare for taking part in Holy Week, with its rich and varied traditions of worship. All are welcome to this opportunity to explore the symbolism and meaning of the Liturgies of Holy Week.  Footwashing, Stripping of the Altars, Veneration of the Cross, the New Fire and the Paschal Candle, together with the services in which they are used, will be explained and discussed.
