Vestry & Committees
Vestry
The Vestry is the church council of Old Saint Paul’s, entrusted with making decisions on behalf of the congregation.
Finance Committee
The Finance Committee provides knowledge and expertise on financial investment, taxation and money management.
Property Committee
The task of the Property Committee is to do its best to live up to its name and keep the roof over our heads.
Groups
Children’s Ministry
Children's Ministry provides care for infants and spiritual development for three to eight year olds.
Churchwardens
Churchwardens greet visitors and regular worshippers, and ensure all runs smoothly during and after services.
Development Group
The Development Group seeks to communicate our sense of community within the church and beyond.
Fairtrade Group
Old Saint Paul's is a Fairtrade church, and holds regular stalls selling Fairtrade products.
Overseas Giving Group
The Overseas Giving Group administers the Church's Overseas Giving Fund.
Parish Lunch Group
The Group prepares parish lunches, which in recent years have been held on Patronal Festivals.
Readers
Readers are members of the congregation who read the lessons at Old Saint Paul's services.
Sacristans
The Sacristans care for the Church's extensive wardrobe of vestments and other liturgical wares.
Servers
The Servers, one of the church's largest groups, provide assistance during the liturgy.
Tithing Group
The Tithing Group administers the Church's donations to charitable organisations.
Walking Group
The Walking Group organises regular walks for congregation members and their friends.
White Rose Group
The White Rose Group oversees publication of the Church newsletter and magazine.
Young Adults Group
The Young Adults Group crosses cultural and international boundaries in an easy fellowship of friendship and shared interests.
Young Saint Paul’s
Young Saint Paul’s is the Church's youth group, focusing (roughly) on the 9 to 16 age range.
