Development Group

An immediate attraction of Old Saint Paul’s in the extraordinary and obvious diversity of its congregation. Through diversity there is unity in the body of Christ.

The Development Group seeks to build and communicate OSP‘s sense of community and belonging both within the Church and the outside world. As a group we assist with community building events be they quiz nights or Burns Suppers, Gilbert and Sullivan extravaganzas or musical evenings. We ensure that members of the congregation know what’s going and generally encourage them to take part and feel involved.

In 2007 the Development Group was able to play an important supporting role in stewardship renewal. As a group we meet every month or six weeks or so usually at Lauder House, OSP‘s clergy house. We are always happy to discuss new ideas. You can find details of our meetings in the church’s regular service sheet and also in the website diary.

The Development Group current members are: Heidi Adams, Tom Birch Steve Harries, Jean Keltie, Alastair Learmont, Frank Ribbons, Lorraine Simpson and Helen Tyrrell.

Please contact Jean Keltie for further information.
