Children's Worship

Children’s Ministry provides a crèche for infants and toddlers during High Mass and spiritual development opportunities for three to eight year olds.

Our crèche is offered each week during High Mass and the crèche room is located on the ground floor of the church, just off the church hall. Our volunteers work to provide a safe and fun place for the youngest members of the congregation to play and grow in faith.

Meanwhile, the three to eight year olds have a varied programme throughout the month. On alternate Sundays, the children join in Godly Play which includes Bible Stories shared by a trained storyteller and followed up by the opportunity to respond in art. On the second Sunday of the month, Godly Play includes the children’s Eucharist led by a member of the clergy team. 

On the non-Godly Play Sundays, the Sunday School team provides lessons based on the readings from High Mass or focusing on events in the church calendar or within our community and the world. This time together includes prayer, Bible reading, singing and creative art time.
