Budget for 2009

The Vestry’s budget for 2008-09 is now available to view on this site.

Financial year 2009 will the first full year of increased giving income, following the renewal programme in late 2007.  During 2008, the Vestry has been able to increase its support for children’s ministry and liturgical music. In 2009, costs will rise further with the appointment of a stipendiary curate (partly with support from the diocese).

The Vestry expects to cover all these costs in 2009, with a small surplus.  However, there are other, exceptional costs, not included in the budget; in particular, the first phase of a major restoration project on the church roof, which we expect will be supported by grant aid from Historic Scotland and the Heritage Lottery Fund.
