Festival worship at Old Saint Paul’s

Date Posted: Sunday 08 July 2012

During Edinburgh Festival time our regular Sunday services of High Mass at 10.30am and Solemn Evensong and Benediction at 6.30pm acquire a special character.

Our renewed choir, under the direction of Dr John Kitchen, brings out highlights from its repertoire, and we welcome the presence of many Festival vistors.

Special music this year includes Masses by Lassus, Raymond Monelle and Vierne, and anthems ranging from Mozart and Mendelssohn to Villette and Stanford.

Details of music for all our Festival services are available on the Forthcoming Services page.
