Finance committee
The committee advises on investment, taxation and money management so as to help the Trustees (the Vestry) take proper care of the church finances.
As well as preparing an annual budget, the committee seeks to ensure that all our financial activities follow good ethical practice and comply with the proper policies and procedures.
The committee works closely with the Treasurer, advises the Vestry on the purchase of goods and services, and supervises the letting of the church and hall.
The committee is made up of members of the Vestry and the congregation. The Convenor is usually a member of the Vestry, and she or he reports to the Vestry on financial matters.
