Advent
On each Sunday of Advent, we will be lighting a candle in the Advent wreath at Sung Mass in anticipation of Christmas.
Advent Carol Service – 27 November
On the First Sunday of Advent, 27 November, we will be holding our Advent Carol Service at 6:30pm. Come join us for a feast of readings, poetry and music for the season. A collection for St. Salvador’s Community Food Initiative will be taken afterwards.

Evensong and Benediction with Lucernarium will be held on Sunday evenings at 6:30pm until Candlemas 2023 (except 18, 25 Dec and New Year’s Day).
Advent Compline
Sung Night Prayer in traditional language will be held at 8:00pm on Saturdays in Advent:
- 26 November
- 3, 10 and 17 December.

Follow The Star – 3 December
An Advent event of craft, story, and prayers for children and families with OSP and St John’s. 10am for 10:30am, Saturday 3 December at St John’s on Princes Street (ending by noon).
Christmas
Our Christmas services are as follows.
Sunday before Christmas – 18 December
Nine Lessons and Carols. Starts at 6:30pm for approximately one hour. A collection for St. Salvador’s Community Food Initiative will be taken afterwards.

Christmas Eve – 24 December
Christingle and Crib Service. In person only, starting at 10:30am.
Midnight Mass. Starts at 11:30pm. The service will also be live-streamed on our YouTube channel via the Online Resources page.
Christmas Day – 25 December
High Mass of Christmas. Starts at 10:30am.
Sunday after Christmas – 1 January
High Mass for the First Sunday after Christmas. Starts at 10:30am.
Epiphany Service – 6 January
Epiphany service will take place on Friday 6 January at 7:30pm.
Apart from the Christmas services noted above, all other regular services will be cancelled in the two weeks following Christmas and New Years. However, the church will be open for personal prayers during the weekdays as normal.
