Unaccompanied voices in harmony
Rudsambee’s programme offers a diverse collection of music from female composers across the centuries; including Thea Musgrave, Clara Schumann, Sheena Phillips, Abbie Betinis and many more. A mix of musical genres, there will be polyphony, folk song from Scotland and Ireland, fluttering butterflies, piranahs on the Glasgow Underground, and German Romanticism. Rudsambee Company of Singers is a well established Edinburgh-based choir of mixed voices. The name comes from the Gaelic expression rud sam bith idir, meaning “anything at all”.
