Ministry of healing

On the first Sunday of every month one of the clergy is available from 10.10am in a side chapel for the sacrament of healing. Everyone is welcome to receive this quiet prayer and anointing on the forehead with oil. The oil is a traditional symbol of God's blessing.

The priest will pray in these, or similar words, “I lay my hands upon you in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, asking him to uphold you and fill you with his grace, that you may know the healing power of his love. Amen”.
