Sancte Paule Apostole is here!

On October 25th 2023, Old Saint Paul’s choir released their new CD recording, Sancte Paule Apostole.

The CD features a wide variety of music (including previously unheard 16th century pieces!) and several works by musicians associated with our church: all music which has a particular association with the liturgies of Old Saint Paul’s, where music plays an important part in our weekly worship – music which expresses the human skill and creativity that we offer, but also reminds us of a rich inheritance from our Christian ancestors – an unending song of praise. You will hear music connected to the celebration of our patron saint, Paul, who urges us to ‘rejoice always, pray without ceasing, and give thanks in all circumstances’ (1 Thessalonians 5.16, 17). We hope that the music in this recording will help you to do just that.
